Kerry began the day at a home in the St. Andrews Country Club in Boca Raton for a campaign organizing event.
A few dozen Biden supporters were on hand as Kerry motivated them, stressing the importance of the next few days.
The former secretary of state praised Biden, saying his character and relationships are second to none. He also took shots at President Donald Trump's response to the coronavirus.
"You look at coronavirus, where this president literally said, oh I don't want that, if that cruise ship comes into port, then the numbers will come up and that's not good for me," said Kerry. "Who literally didn't want testing to take place because it might show that more people have it. What has happened to us where our leader is so craven, that he just takes care of himself and not the citizens of our country?"
From there, Kerry went to Fort Lauderdale and Aventura to open two new campaign offices for Biden.
Kerry will wrap up his time in South Florida in Miami, where he will be part of a discussion on Latin America policy.
Kerry's visit follows Dr. Jill Biden, who also campaigned for her husband in Boca Raton over the weekend. She spoke with a group of educators and retired teachers.
The most recent polls suggest Biden will win Florida's primary. His campaign said the former vice president will visit South Florida before the March 17 primary, but has not specified when or where he will be.
