A no swimming advisory has been issued for Spanish River Beach in Boca Raton.
According to the Florida Department of Health of Palm Beach County, a recent sampling showed elevated bacterial levels in the water.
As a precaution, the department prohibited swimming at Spanish River Beach until further notice, however, both the park and the beach will remain open and full use of the beach may resume in a day or two, said FDOH in a news release.
