There is an explanation for a helicopter heard hovering over a section of Boca Raton overnight.
Police now say officers were looking for suspects in a stolen vehicle.
An officer in the Strathmore neighborhood discovered a Toyota Camry driving slowly through the subdivision and tried to follow it.
When that happened the driver took off and ended up crashing into the east gate of Saint Andrew's school, police said.
4 people bailed out and officers said they learned the car was stolen from Broward County and red gloves and a screwdriver were on the front seat.
A K-9 unit tracked down a juvenile to the patio of a home on NW 25th Way. Police said they found two other juveniles along with 19-year-old Jaytwan McNeal in a storage area in the backyard of another house. All are from Broward County.
One said they came to Boca to "try door handles," according to police.
Police charged the suspects with burglary to an occupied dwelling and resisting an officer without violence. McNeal and a fourth juvenile also face charges of possession of burglary tools.
