One person is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Boca Raton Tuesday evening, according to Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office Spokesperson Teri Barbera.
The incident happened at 9:30 p.m. near Boca Rio Road and Glades Road. Glades Road is shut down west of the Turnpike due to the crash.
Officials say the pedestrian entered the roadway into the path of an oncoming vehicle.
The male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
