Police have identified two men and charged one of them with the 2016 shooting death of a man in Boca Raton.

It happened at the San Marco complex near the corner of Military Trail and Yamato Road last June.

After he was shot, Jacob C. Walsh of Jupiter ran from the complex’s clubhouse, later collapsed and died at a hospital.

Police said that they determined Walsh was involved in a suspected drug deal with Matthew Lewis and Jonah Horne when he was shot.

They said Lewis, who is currently in prison in northern Florida on an unrelated charge, has been charged with second degree murder with a firearm.

Investigators said Horne was found in Northern Ireland. He's being held pending extradition.

Police are still looking for information about the case and if you know anything you are urged to call Detective Lazarus Kimsal at (561) 620-6144 or Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at (800) 458-TIPS.
