BOCA RATON, Fla. — Police are investigating a robbery that happened Wednesday night at Saks Fifth Avenue in the Town Center at Boca Raton mall.

The crime happened around 8:45 p.m.
According to the police department, an employee confronted a man in a dark hooded sweatshirt who was taking merchandise from a shelf.
He displayed a gun, and the worker backed away as the thief stuffed several purses into a bag.
Police said he ran from the store and got into what appeared to be a dark, newer model Ford Mustang.
The suspect is described as a thin black male, approximately 6 feet tall.
