There is a public meeting on Tuesday to discuss a proposal to build a second Tri-Rail stop in Boca Raton.
The proposed station would be located near Glades Road and Military Trail.
Currently the Yamato Road station in Boca Raton is one of busiest Tri-Rail stops.
The meeting will give the public a chance to voice their concern or support for the project.
The meeting will be held at Spanish River Library, located at 1501 NW Spanish River Blvd., from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
A proposed station may include a surface parking lot, drop-off area and walkway to the station.
A second station would seek to improve accessibility to downtown Boca Raton and other areas of the city.
The South Florida Regional Transportation Authority will also discuss alternatives developed during a previous study and other options besides building a second Tri-Rail station.
