A teacher at Omni Middle School in Boca Raton is under investigation.
According to Omni Middle School Principal Gerald Riopelle, the unidentified teacher has been reassigned from the school while the Palm Beach County School District's Professional Standards Department investigates allegations made against the individual.
Riopelle says the teacher will not be returning to campus and will have no contact with any students.
"Those families directly affected by this reassignment have been contacted. Therefore if you have not heard from the school about this matter prior to this call, your child is not affected," Riopelle said in a statement.
This is the second teacher from a Palm Beach County school to be reassigned this week in the wake of allegations against them.
