A member of the "Today" show family made a few stops in Palm Beach County over the weekend.
On Sunday, Hoda Kotb continued her book tour at the Levis Jewish Community Center in Boca Raton.
Kotb, the co-host of the fourth hour on "Today" and a best-selling author, is promoting her book “Where We Belong.”
She explained to WPTV what she loves most about going on tour.
"I'm a real listener, like I really enjoy getting to know people,” Kotb said. “I rather hear a story than tell a story."
Kotb’s book and career has inspired women to take charge of their lives and to give back. During her visit to Boca Raton, she held a meet and greet event and spoke to fans one on one.
"You know she's very genuine,” attendee Dina Burg said. “The book tells you she's been through a lot health wise, so it was lovely and you could understand."
"It says a lot about her, and she's really a role model for women everywhere I think,” Gail Ravit said. "She's warm, she's intelligent and she’s giving."
