BOCA RATON, Fla. — The Town Center at Boca Raton was closed to shoppers for the holiday, but the doors were open for dozens of families eating Christmas dinner.

For the third year, Boca Helping Hands and the mall joined together to serve a Christmas Day feast.

"We redid our food court to be a nice five-star restaurant," said General Manager Sal Saldana.

Dozens of families were served food from local restaurants.

The executive director of Boca Helping Hands, Gregory Hazle, said they want everyone to have access to a good meal on Christmas.

"Not only something but something special," said Hazle.

Santa took pictures with families and presents were passed out.

Saldana said he wants to continue the tradition next year and hopes more families will attend.
