The shooting occurred in the area of Seacrest Boulevard and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard around 9:38 p.m.

Officers said they heard shots coming from the area.  At around the same time, dispatch received a call about a man who had been shot.

Police later located the man in the 100 block of West Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

Spokeswoman Stephanie Slater said about 10 minutes later, dispatch received a call about a second man who had come to the emergency room with a gunshot wound. Slater said his condition is also stable.
