Boynton Beach police seek bank robbery suspect

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. -- Boynton Beach police are seeking a bank robbery suspect after the Chase branch at 4746 N. Congress Avenue was robbed Thursday afternoon.

Police were called to the bank at 12:41 p.m. after a man demanded cash from a teller. He implied in a note that he had a gun, but no weapon was seen.

The man left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He is described as a white man in his mid-50s with dirty blonde hair and "bad teeth". He was wearing a hat with the logo of the Pittsburgh Penguins hockey team on it, a yellow shirt, dark pants, dark shoes and sunglasses.
