BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. — Tropical Storm Eta could bring high winds and flooding in Palm Beach County. People were preparing for the storm on Saturday.

The Boynton Estates neighborhood flooded two weeks ago after heavy rain. John Madina said it was the worst flooding he had ever seen, and he had eater inside his home.

Madina said he is worried this weekend's storm could flood the area again.

"Hopefully now that they cleared the drain, because that is all they ever had to do, we won't get flooded," Madina said.

He said he has sandbags just in case it floods.

People were visiting the Boynton Beach Inlet on Saturday to check out the pre-storm conditions.

The windy weather was a surprise for Alisyn and Andrew, who were there to fish.

"We didn't realize the weather was going to be this crazy," Alisyn said.

Alisyn and Andrew, who didn't give their last names, said they are glad they were out Saturday and plan to stay inside Sunday and do any needed preparations for the storm.

"We hunker down and pray for the best and everyone's safety," Alisyn added.

The windy conditions Saturday will continue into Sunday and are expected to increase Sunday evening.
