WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- A woman whose arrest in connection with a contract killing plot was featured on the television show "Cops" testified Tuesday under oath for the first time.

Dalia Dippolito took the stand in a pre-trial hearing and said she didn't actually want to have her husband killed.

The 33-year-old Dippolito is facing a May retrial on 2009 charges that she tried to hire a hit man to kill convicted conman Michael Dippolito.

Dippolito claims the entire murder-for-hire plot was planned with her husband so they could get a reality show and be famous.

She said she was just acting in the hidden police videos.

And she says when she tried to back out the police informant, whom she said she was sleeping with, threatened her.

"I just said I didn't want to do this anymore. He said I needed to keep doing it. At that point he lifted his shirt and showed me his gun. He threatened to hurt me and threatened to hurt my family," she testified.

The judge now has to decide whether that police informant was indeed pressured by police and whether he should throw out key evidence related to the informant.

The case gained national notoriety because "Cops" happened to be filming with the Boynton Beach police.
