Boynton Beach Police are investigating a shooting that occurred this afternoon around the area of Southwest Fourth Street and Southwest Fourth Avenue.
Officers responded about 4:30 p.m. after receiving numerous 911 calls about shots being fired in the vicinity. Witnesses told police that occupants of two cars were involved in a gun fight as they drove through the neighborhood.
One man was taken to a local hospital with gunshot wounds that are not believed to be life-threatening. There are no further details being released right now.
