A motorcyclist was killed in Boynton Beach Tuesday night after being struck by a car that left the scene of the crash.
Boynton Beach police say Woolbright Road had to be shut down in both directions from the Interstate 95 exit to Seacrest Boulevard as officials investigated the fatal wreck.
The motorcyclist, Andrew Forest Badgley, 31, of Boynton Beach, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Boynton Beach police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater said Badgley was driving an orange 2008 Honda 600RR west on Woolbright Road when a white Buick made a left turn in front of him to go north on Southwest 2nd Street.
The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the vehicle.
Police are still searching for two occupants of the Buick, who fled on foot following the crash.
Anyone with information is asked to call Traffic Homicide Investigator Christopher Munro at 561-732-8116.
