A man wanted for murder in New York has been captured in Boynton Beach, police say.
30-year-old Freddie Salgado of Brooklyn is a suspect in a home invasion robbery earlier this month in Queens in which a person was shot and killed, according to police.
They say he was staying in an apartment at Las Ventanas and he was picked up during a traffic stop on Northeast 12th Avenue.
Police credit his arrest to the hard work of Boynton Beach Police Department Agent Gleicher and the U.S. Marshals Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Salgado is currently being held at the Palm Beach County Jail.
