Police are reminding you not to shoot off guns to celebrate the 4th of July.
Shooting a firearm into the air in celebration of the holiday can have deadly consequences.
Just last year a man watching fireworks at Busch Gardens was injured by celebratory gunfire.
Boynton Beach police are reminding residents "what goes up must come down."
In a social media post it warned: Stray bullets take lives."
Police are urging gun owners to keep the community safe and not fire a gun on the 4th.
