A 4-year-old Boynton Beach girl received a special gift: a custom made wheelchair just in time for the ball.

Bellamarie Natale received a princess carriage specially designed to fit her wheelchair inside it. It was designed by the Oregon-based non-profit, Magic Wheelchair.

The carriage is pink and purple and even has room for her 2-year-old sister, Tiger Lily.

The wheelchair was presented to the Natale family at the Barrier Free 5k Race at Barrier Park. It kicked off at 7:30 a .m.

"It means the world to our family cause it's hard to take Bella to regular parks," said William Natale, Bella's father. "We're not only relieved, we're excited as well."

Bella has a big engagement this evening. She will be the belle of the ball at the Love for Hope Ball for children with disabilities at the Carolyn Sims Center in Boynton Beach.
