Eight people were injured in a head-on collision near Lantana Thursday evening, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
The crash happened at 6:13 p.m. near the intersection of Donnelly Drive and Lake Cascade Boulevard.
Firefighters say the crash caused heavy damage to the vehicles.
Four patients were transported to a local hospital, three injured were transported to local non-trauma hospitals and one patient was treated on the scene and released.
