Change could be coming to one of the most iconic corners in Delray Beach.
The property where Doc's All American restaurant sits is officially for sale.
The walk-up restaurant has been on the corner of North Swinton Avenue and West Atlantic Avenue since the 1950s.
Southdale Properties has posted a listing online. It does not include a price. The 0.77-acre property also includes the Dunkin' Donuts building.
Realtor Cecelia Boone says both tenants are on monthly leases. She says the land owner is looking for a new development to take advantage of the prime location. Boone says the landowner's decision to sell the property was "painful."
She says a new development could include a smaller version of Doc's or Dunkin' Donuts as part of a bigger project.
Doc's won't be leaving immediately. It could be months, even years, before a sale is finalized and a new project is approved for the site.
A call to the owner of Doc's was not returned.
