A 19-year-old was arrested Monday after officials say an investigation led them to believe she may have burglarized 20 vehicles that morning.
According to Delray Beach police, Angela Carrizzo told them she left her house at 2 a.m. with the intention of breaking into unlocked vehicles to obtain loose change and other property.
Police say Carrizzo is not the only one.
"Opportunist thieves will go from car to car, looking for the path of least resistance, an unlocked door, to your valuables," said police.
Delray Beach police urge drivers to keep their car locked.
