DELRAY BEACH, Fla. — Delray Beach police are searching for a creeping, crawling crook and his accomplice who broke into a Domino's Pizza and stole a safe.
WATCH SURVEILLANCE VIDEO:
Surveillance video shows a thief smash the front door of the restaurant, located at 142 SE 6th Avenue, around 2:15 a.m. Friday.
Police said a second crook wearing black clothing, a mask, and socks on his hands entered the business 30 minutes later.
He crawled around on the floor to a back office, where he rummaged through a manager's desk and checked a cash drawer. He then went to the front counter and hauled away a large safe, handing it to the first thief standing outside Domino's.
The safe turned out to be empty, police said.
If you know who either of the burglars are, call Det. Giovanni Milicchio with the Delray Beach Police Department at (561) 243-7820, or Palm Beach County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS.
