SOUTHERN PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. — Multiple crashes overnight on the Turnpike southbound in southern Palm Beach County caused heavy delays Monday morning.

A fiery, two-vehicle crash involving a semi occurred in the area at about 1:49 a.m. just past the Glades Road exit, closing all lanes for about three hours.
Minor injuries were reported.
SECOND WRECK
A second crash occurred at about 5 a.m. involving a a box truck in the same area when a distracted truck driver lost control. This wreck sent the truck on top of the median.
Road crews told WPTV the driver almost hit a worker trying to pickup cones that were placed on the road for the previous wreck.
The box truck also nearly hit two television trucks, including WPTV's vehicle, which were parked on the side of the Turnpike.
No injuries were reported in the second wreck.
The Turnpike southbound was completely clear by 7:30 a.m.
