Two people died Monday in a suburban Boynton Beach crash that shut down the intersection for multiple hours.

The wreck happened near the intersection of Woolbright and Hagen Ranch roads at about 12:02 p.m.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, the driver of a 2015 Honda, identified as Deo Singh, 78, of western Boynton Beach, turned left from southbound Hagen Ranch Road to travel east on Woolbright Road.

The driver of 2006 Mack truck was traveling north on Hagen Ranch Road and approaching Woolbright Road.

The PBSO report said Singh turned into the path of the Mack Truck, causing a violent collision.

The front of the Mack truck impacted the passenger side of the Honda.

Both Sigh and his passenger, Julie Kahn, 56, who also lived in western Boynton Beach, were killed in the wreck.

The driver of the Mack truck suffered minor injuries.

Everyone involved in the wreck was wearing their seat belt at the time of the crash.

The PBSO report said no charges are pending.
