West Boca Medical Center is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
Hospital leaders say adapting to new technology as well as the internet have improved the way they treat patients.
More than 40 people are still on staff from the day hospital opened. They say the best part is building
"I've taken care of grandma and grandpa and they're bringing in their grandkids for a tonsillectomy or something like that and they say, ‘you know you took care of me,’ " said registered nurse Hal Oster.
"We're delighted here at 30 years to have the opportunity to recognize those who created the foundation,” said West Boca Medical Center CEO Mitch Feldman.
The hospital's CEO says they have plans to add more private rooms, open satellite facilities and expand the operating room.
