The St. Lucie County Fire District said crews were sent to battle a brush fire Wednesday afternoon in 15000 block of Orange Ave.
The district tweeted out photos showing flames in one picture and thick smoke in another.
It's not clear how the fire started.
The fire district said no structures were immediately threatened.
