Two more scams are plaguing St. Lucie County. That's the warning the Sheriff's Office posted on its Facebook page Thursday.

One of the scams, claiming to be Publisher's Clearing House, says you have won millions of dollars and to call "claim manager" to receive your prize. When you do, they ask for your bank account number and steal your money, said the Sheriff's Office.

The other scam is a check that shows up in an envelope directing you to deposit. Officials warn that the check is a counterfeit check. When you deposit it into your account, you are responsible for the funds.

The Sheriff's Office wants the public to not fall for these scams.
