FORT PIERCE, Fla. -- Firefighters extinguished a residential structure fire in Fort Pierce Wednesday afternoon.
Crews responded to the 1200 block of Avenue L at 12:52 p.m.
The American Red Cross is assisting one adult after their home was damaged by the fire.
No other structures were threatened.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
