Investigators have determined that a fire that heavily damaged an auto repair shop in St. Lucie County was accidental.
The fire began Tuesday afternoon at J and A Auto Repair in the 3300 block of South U.S. 1 in Fort Pierce.
Smoke and flames spread through the building and caused an estimated $200,000 damage.
The fire began in a power strip in a back office, according to the St. Lucie County Fire District.
The fire district said there were no injuries.
