FORT PIERCE, Fla. — A Fort Pierce man is accused of sexually assaulting a woman he solicited on Facebook to paint his home.

According to police, the alleged victim responded to a Facebook post, posted by 22-year-old Carlos Valderramos Perez, in reference to painting his home. The two communicated through Facebook and text messages.

The alleged victim said she came to Perez's home on E. Weatherbee Road in early February to give him a quote.

According to his arrest report, Perez took the alleged victim through his home and showed her what needed to be painted. The tour ended in a bedroom.

Police said Perez forced the woman into sex and wouldn't let her leave. He confessed to investigators, according to his arrest report.

Perez was booked into the St. Lucie County Jail where he's now facing charges of sexual assault with a weapon, and false imprisonment.
