FORT PIERCE, Fla. — Fort Pierce police say a suspect involved in a bank robbery is in custody.
The robbery happened Saturday at approximately 9:31 a.m. at the Seacoast Bank located at 1901 S. U.S. Highway 1.
According to police, the suspect entered the bank and demanded money from a teller before fleeing the scene northbound on U.S. 1 with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police say he was arrested less than 12 hours after the crime.
No one was injured during the incident.
