FORT PIERCE, Fla.-- The man accused of driving drunk and causing a deadly, fiery crash last November in Fort Pierce, was back in court Wednesday morning.
The attorney for 21-year-old Tanner Dashner was asking a judge to issue a gag order in the case, specifically against an attorney representing one of the victim's families, claiming his comments were preventing her client from getting a fair trial.
The judge denied that request.
Dashner faces five counts of vehicular homicide and five counts of DUI manslaughter.
Many of the victims family members were in court wearing shirts in honor of their loved ones.
