FORT PIERCE, Fla. — HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Fort Pierce is celebrating the grand opening of its new Level III neonatal intensive care unit.
The nearly year-long expansion cost about $6 million.
It expands the NICU space at the hospital while also adding 17 new jobs.
Lawnwood's NICU now features 20 beds and two isolation rooms.
