It wasn’t long after Hurricane Michael made landfall that Islamorada Beer Company jumped into action. The company in Fort Pierce knows first hand what it takes to rebuild after Hurricane Irma impacted their keys location last year.

“I’ve seen the roofs being ripped off and I know how devastating that can be and how scary,” said marketing manager Lisa deFranza.

The company has partnered up with 2 other local breweries, Sailfish and Walking Tree to collect donations to deliver to the Florida Panhandle.

“We are Floridians and we are here to help whoever needs the help you know we want to make sure the panhandle is taken care of,” said Gabriel Atkinson.

They are asking anyone interested in donating to drop off items behind the Islamorada Warehouse at 3200 St. Lucie Blvd. Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
