FORT PIERCE, Fla. — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Fort Pierce Friday evening, according to Fort Pierce Police.
The crash happened at approximately 10:58 p.m.
The southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 1 were closed at Edwards Rd. while officers worked the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
