FORT PIERCE, Fla. - Police are searching for an older model silver or gray four-door sedan with dark, tinted windows after a man was hit and killed early Sunday morning.

According to police, the men inside the car hit 33-year-old Juan Carlos at around 3:00 am after an altercation at a night club at Okeechobee and S. 17th Street in Fort Pierce.

Carlos's Brother, Miguel Rendon says the argument began inside, then continued in the parking lot.

"The guy had shoved me, and my brother got mad and he punched him in the face," Rendon recalled. "Then my brother, he didn't want to stop, so he ran around and we came over here and the car just hit him."

Police say the driver of the car fled after Carlos was hit, and at least two men were inside of it.

According to detectives, another driver followed the car for a while.

The driver told police the car took several turns onto different nearby streets to get to a roundabout at Sunrise Boulevard.

Police say the sedan then continued south on Oleander Boulevard to Virginia Avenue at which point the driver, who was following the sedan, lost sight of the car.

Anyone who has any information about the vehicle or the men who took off in it is asked to call 911. Rendon says his family is offering a reward for anyone who can help police track down the men in the car.
