A St. Lucie County man face charges in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred last month in the parking lot of a Fort Pierce La Quinta Inn.
Patrick Michael Langel, 32, turned himself in Tuesday.
On Feb. 11, police said a man, identified as Heriberto Nieves, 29, was found shot to death outside the La Quinta Inn on Crossroads Parkway.
The motive for the shooting is unclear.
Langel faces homicide charges.
