FORT PIERCE, Fla. -- If you’ve ever wanted to experience the rigor of a Navy SEAL obstacle course, now you can.
As part of its Memorial Day ceremony, a new three-story climbing tower was unveiled at The National Navy UDT SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce.
The $170,000 course addition is modeled after the basic underwater demolition SEAL training course in California.
"It embodies everything we stand for as Navy SEALs, physical fitness, our ethos: Courage, commitment, and you have to be committed to climb this," said Rick Kaiser with the Navy SEAL Museum.
The museum sits on the training grounds of the original Navy combat divers, the frogmen. The Treasure Coast attraction has more than doubled its exhibition space in recent years.
