PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — Port St Lucie police said a 19-year-old man was killed Thursday morning after his vehicle lost control and hit a tree.

The wreck happened on SW Crosstown Parkway near the intersection of SW Fairgreen Road around 6 a.m.

Investigators said their preliminary investigation revealed the driver, Sean Michael Marin of Port St. Lucie, was traveling in a 2004 white Honda Accord west on SW Crosstown Parkway.

As the car traveled west, the the Accord hit a curb on the right side of the road, causing Marin to lose control.
