A 15-year-old ended up in a hospital after speeding away from a bogus drug deal and crashing into another car and injuring that driver, according to Port St. Lucie police.
The collision happened just before 10:30 a.m. Friday near SE Crosspoint and SE Floresta drives.
A 20-year-old man met the teenager at the corner to buy marijuana but discovered the bag he paid $50 for was filled with grass, police said.
The teenager, who was driving a Camaro, sped away but collided with a 22-year-old woman driving a Mercedes SUV, according to police.
The impact caused the SUV to roll over.
Both the teenager and woman were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
The teenager faces unspecified traffic and criminal violations.
