MARTIN COUNTY, Fla.- Detectives are investigating what they’re calling alarming and threatening messages found inside nearly a dozen businesses in Martin County.

One message inside the men’s bathroom says “Please call the FBI/ATF/DHS” and “phone calls blocked” with the word bomb underneath.

It led to the evacuation of the Walgreens in Palm City on Saturday.

Detectives are investigating eight to 10 cases of vandalism found on the walls and doors of public restrooms.

“These places, I’m most definitely concerned about it,” said Peter Sacchitello, of Palm City. “People are mostly seniors down here, we frequent these places, we rely on them, they’re necessary for us and why do we have to deal with this?”

Detectives say they’ve identified a possible suspect.

If you see similar messages, call the Martin County Sheriff’s Office.
