It's out with the old and in with the new, a new name that is, for the spring training home of the New York Mets.

The team has entered into a 10-year strategic marketing partnership for the naming rights to what used to be called Tradition Field in Port St. Lucie.

The new name is First Data Field.

"It is an exciting time for our organization to have a world-wide leader in their field such as First Data to be our new naming rights partner," said Mets COO Jeff Wilpon in a news release. "First Data is going to be a terrific partner of ours for years to come and we are thrilled to have their name on our stadium. All parties look forward to providing a great environment for Mets fans and the community."

The company said it was proud to partner with the team. It said the club is a world-class organization committed to winning.

"While we root for the Mets under the Florida sun, our payments technology will help to power commerce for the Mets and their legion of fans," First Data Chairman and CEO  Frank Bisignano said in a statement.

First Data Field was built in 1988 and seats 7,000 fans.
