PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — Port St. Lucie is hosting an eco-themed, Lego robotics event for children Friday night.
The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Oxbow Eco-Center located at 5400 NE St. James Drive
It’s is billed as a hands-on technology, nature-based program for children ages eight to 12.
Participants will build and explore models using Lego bricks and then bring them to life using robotic technology.
The program includes a sunset hike, chance to meet animals and get close to nature. Pizza, drinks and a snack will be served.

Admission fee is $30 per child and $20 for each additional sibling. Space for the program is limited.
The Oxbow Eco-Center is a St. Lucie County Environmental Learning Center situated on 225 acres on the St. Lucie River.
