PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Police are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and SUV at SW Darwin Blvd. and SW Panther Trace.
Police say a 2005 gray Honda Pilot was being driven by a 19-year-old male at 7:55 p.m. on Friday night and was turning onto SW Panther Trace.
At the same time, a 26-year-old male motorcyclist a couple of vehicles behind the Pilot, attempted to pass other cars and struck the Pilot.
The motorcyclist sustained severe head trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene.
