PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. — Police are looking for the thief who stole a woman's purse in the parking lot of a Port St. Lucie Walmart.

The police department said the crime happened around 1:45 p.m. on Jan. 2 at the store at 1674 NW St. Lucie West Blvd.
The victim said she was walking to her car when a man with cornrows grabbed her purse from her shopping cart, then took off in a waiting car.
Police said the entire incident took only six seconds.
