A man riding a bike could be a potential witness in the alleged molestation of a child in Port St. Lucie.
The 12-year-old claims he was lured into the woods near NW Wolverine Road and Brenda Circle Monday. He was later found naked after calling for help.
The suspect is described as a white male, 5-5 to 5-feet 6 inches tall, weighing about 215 pounds with brownish black hair. He was last seen wearing a white shirt and green shorts.
Detectives say while canvassing a neighborhood they discovered home surveillance video from Wolverine Road of a man pedaling a bike and possibly wearing a backpack.
He rode by about 5 minutes before the child passed the same area.
Police want to question the bicyclist as a potential witness.
If you recognize the man on the bike you are urged to call Port St. Lucie Police at 772.871.5001 or Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1-800-273 TIPS.
