PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Officials say an unsubstantiated threat was made Tuesday regarding Treasure Coast High School.

The threat was investigated by school resource officers, who determined that there was no evidence of a credible threat to students or staff members of the school.

The school district says the school's principal notified parents of the threat and investigation through the school's mass notification system.

Kerry Padrick, Chief Communication Officer with St. Lucie Public Schools says there will be additional law enforcement personnel at the school's campus on Wednesday to help monitor the situation.
