Port St. Lucie firefighters put out a car fire at a gas station Saturday morning.
St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office says the incident happened shortly after 7 a.m. at a 7- Eleven gas station on the corner of Prima Vista and Airoso Boulevard in Port St. Lucie.
The gas station was evacuated, surrounding homes in the area were not.
A deputy says a driver backed up into the pump, the pump toppled over a car, the two caught fire.
No injuries were reported.
