There are extra patrols at Palm Pointe Educational Research School at Tradition Thursday and Friday, according to the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office said it was prompted by a social media post showing a vehicle driving past the school with people on the roof of the vehicle.
In addition, the vehicle has been reported throughout sections of Port St. Lucie, the sheriff's office said.
